About

In the last few decades, the world has experienced significant changes in various aspects of life triggered by technological developments and scientific innovation. However, global challenges such as climate change, environmental degradation and socio-economic injustice continue to pose serious threats to the sustainability of the planet. In this context, the role of engineering and science becomes increasingly crucial in finding solutions to create a greener, fairer and more sustainable future.

The Faculty of Engineering University of Mataram invites engineers and researchers around the world to visit Lombok island and to attend the valuable multi fields conference of science and engineering named “The Fourth Mandalika International Multi-conference on Science and Engineering 2026″ or “4th MIMSE 2026”. This fruitful event will be the annual conference on Lombok island which is supported by the government West Nusa Tenggara Province. The 4th MIMSE consisted of three symposium:

  1. International Symposium on Computer Science and Electrical Engineering (ISCSEE).
  2. International Symposium on Civil Engineering and Architecture (ISCEA)
  3. International Symposium on Mechanical and Industrial Engineering (ISMIE)

Motivation

MIMSE provides a real offline scientific meeting for researchers, students, and practitioners around the world to share their new ideas and inventions in the engineering field to face the current world situation. The recent world growth is affected by unexpected events such as the global pandemic and increasing political tension in many regions around the world. It needs the new innovations and ideas of technologies in the intersection of many fields in engineering are civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and informatics. As generally known, smart technology is broadly implemented in many things such as smart cities, autonomous vehicles, smart farming, and others. It shows the intersection of engineering fields should take more attention.

Term of Reference

The 4th MIMSE 2026 is supported by local governments of Nusa Tenggara Barat Province, North Lombok District, and Central Lombok District.
